Clustering Information and News Links

There are a growing number of sites out there that try to server a purpose similar to the one that we try to do here -- provide news, links, and information related to the world of Linux Clustering and High Performance Computing. This page is an attempt to give the readers some links to these other sites.

For other useful links to sites not specifically related to clustering, you should also take a look a the Additional Links page that we have; for Grid computing information, check out the Grid Computing Information and Links page (both are listed under the Etc... button in the menu on the left).

  • The Aggregate: The Aggregate is a collection of researchers, and the technologies they use to make the components of a parallel computer work better together.

  • Cluster Computing Info Centre: The site contains info on books, links to software, presentations, documentation, and more.

  • ClusterWorld: Cluster Rant is a site put together to try to generate discussion about the issues that determine cluster performance, a place for people to state opinions and "rant" about issues. It runs on Slashcode, so it has the Slashdot interface and feel to it.

  • Clusters @ TOP500: Clusters @ TOP500 is a site with various news, editorials, polls, calendar, and other information related to Linux clustering, as well as being the home of the Top clusters list.

  • Coyote Gulch High Performance Computing: This site contains an annotated list of links to various resources related to high performance computing, and some reviews of various compilers and tools.

  • EnterpriseLinux.org: EnterpriseLinux.org is a site similar to LinuxHPC, as they are both part of the "TechnicalComputing Network." They have similar links and stories, though overall tone is slightly different.

  • High Performance Computing Channel: This seems to be a new version of the Sourceforge Clustering/HPC Foundry.

  • LinuxHPC.org: LinuxHPC.org is a website for system administrators, developers, and enterprise managers, offering recent industry news, events, links, etc, related to high performance technical computing with Linux.

  • Parallel Crunchers: Parallel Crunchers is a Cluster News site. They have a lot of interesting stories and articles, as well as a jobs section, and more.

  • Robert Brown's Beouwlf Page: Robert Brown, (a.k.a. RGB) has a site containing lots of material, including an online book on cluster engineering, talks, tutorials, software, and more.

  • Sourceforge Clustering Foundry: The Sourceforge Clustering Foundry is a lot like this site -- a central location where people can go to learn about the various aspects of Linux clustering, and find lots of pointers to other sites, projects, news, and information (though it appears to have been abandoned many months ago, and the High Performance Computing Channel has taken over what this used to be).

  • Supercomputing Online: Supercomputing Online is dedicated to covering high-end computing, communications, and networking issues, applications, research, and more. While not specifically dedicated to Linux, Linux HPC articles and news are posted regularly.
