Linux Clustering Haikus

At the suggestion of a friend of mine, I decided to try my hand at writing some Linux clustering haikus. They turned out to be funnier than I expected, so I decided to try to write a few more, and I think it's amusing enough that we should have with them here at the LCIC.

We would ask that if you like them and use them somewhere, please give appropriate credit to the author/poet.

If you would like to contribute any haikus, please send them along to webmaster@lcic.org and we'll put it up here on this page.

That constant humming
Even with my ear plugs in
Is driving me mad...

The mainframe cries out
"Don't you want me anymore?"
We just hurry by

"Clusters are easy"
But power, cooling, and racks
Consume all our time

Response time was long
We made it so much faster
Now they expect it!
